End of Democracy?

On the day we were supposed to be leaving the EU there is yet another vote in Parliament the result of which will either signal the end of democracy in our country or, which is more unlikely, agreement will be reached which will provide a platform for our exit on terms which few brexiteers believe delivers what over 17m people voted for almost 3 years ago.                                              How did we get here?                                                          How could this proud nation allow its elected representatives to let its people down so badly? All I know is that I agree with Liam Fox who told reporters  this morning that that the electorate will never forgive Parliament if self serving MPs remove the power of our vote. Regardless of which side of this great divide you sit all must surely agree  that voting in any election going forward is pointless and the message that sends out will have ramifications few of us can imagine today.
